Tawny-Rae Shook, 33, passed away unexpectedly on 12/10/2025, leaving behind a love so deep it cannot be measured and a presence that will never be replaced. Her passing occurred on her birthday—a day meant to celebrate her life, now forever held with reverence and sorrow.
Tawny-Rae was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a fierce entrepreneur, and a woman who poured her heart into everything she touched. She had just completed her master’s degree—an accomplishment she worked tirelessly toward, driven by her passion, intelligence, and unwavering belief in building a meaningful future for her family.
To know Tawny-Rae was to know warmth, strength, and authenticity. She showed up fully—for her loved ones, for her work, and for the community she was a part of. She had a rare way of making people feel seen, supported, and understood, often without saying a word. Her laughter, her creativity, and her depth left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.
Above all else, Tawny-Rae loved fiercely. She loved her family with her whole heart, balancing ambition with tenderness, strength with compassion. Her life was rooted in connection—real, honest, and immensely profound.
Tawny-Rae is survived by her husband, Curt Shook; children, Ryker Perrins and Brody Shook; and siblings, Marquise Kulaga, and Reva Mcdough as well as a circle of family, friends, and community members who will carry her memory forward in countless ways.
A celebration of Tawny-Rae’s life will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Carriage House, 414 Walnut Street, Williamsport, Pa 17701.
